So losing the VCR has made me think about getting rid of all the tapes, because then I'd have more space, but then again I possibly should get a new VCR, but maybe I should downsize the collection. It's all a lot to think about and I *am* trying to work. But since I haven't polled anyone lately, here, make decisions for me...

VCRs aren't that expensive now and you'll prolly want one down the road when you get TV channels so that you can tape stuff. I speak from experience on that one. Plus buying DVDs of movies you already have VHS just seem like an unnecessary expense at the moment. Yahoo also has groups called freecycle where you can post stuff you want to get rid of and people will come and pick it up.
