And I've heard from another minion (and I mean minion in the nicest, kindest, friendly way) who's going to Dragon*Con. She's bought her plane ticket and will be there Friday. Woohoo! And she's got part of her 5th element costume done. Yeah baby!!!

Dude, should I have a costume?! [livejournal.com profile] melintur has a sweet gentleman/zombie Pirate Le Chuck costume, but I have nothing super-keen. I realized today that these new tap pants I have would go great with my fishnets...maybe not the right kind of costume.

Have you *seen* 5th element? We're apparently all dressing as Mila, so this Heather is going as Leeloo. Just imediately post-reactivation. hmmm. Maybe I'll watch that movie tonight.

I love both and 5th Element and Milla. There is something to be said for simplicity in the costume. I would love to have Leeloo's hair color...

Hmmm, what kind of spiffy sci-fi costume can I pull together in 20 days, when work has reached a point of the lowest hell and highest stress?

Well... I'm going to try for a slightly altered Resident Evil Milla. You should see my kick ass boots! Though I'm really not sure I can pull it off. I'm going shopping tomorrow though, so I'm going to try for something good.

But you don't absolutely have to wear a costume... I didn't last year. And I only sort of plan to this year. I just like to look hot at all times is all.

Alas, I am costumeless. One of these years I'll make one. Could always do faux-pirate with my bodice and chemise-type shirt...wonder if my black velour pants fit. Eh, probably won't bother. Now that I have Mom's nifty Pfaff sewing machine, I Need To Sew. As soon as I get the empty boxes off of my sewing machine cabinet and into my storage space upstairs....can't get to the machine yet!

i didn't know i had raised in the ranks to minion already. i was enjoying my status as loveslave. are there added benefits to this rank?
my gold pants are done, and i need to cut the design into the orange suspenders and buy the stuff to finish off the wig. my milla is almost complete!
