If anyone happens to have a spare copy of The Book of Mormon lying around, could they lend it to me. Honestly, it seems unlikely that anyone that I know does, but still. Anyone?

I actually do have a copy of the Book of Mormon, which I would be happy to lend you. I don't know why I have such a thing, really.

I was Mormon. So of course I think I have one lying around. Also, it's been a while so my Mormon knowledge might be rusty, but if you have any questions you can im me at splendade (aim) or dezoid@hotmail.com(e-mail & MSN Messenger) and I'll be happy to answer!

Same here. I even did a couple years of seminary--this isn't as, umm, impressive as it sounds. In Utah, many public junior high/middle schools and high schools offer a class called "released time". The devout can sign up for this class, and go to the bland brick building that happens to sit right next to the school. Somehow the Church manages to grab pieces of real-estate right next to public schools.

Now you know why I'm such a kind, humble, and dedicated to the betterment of mankind. Oh, and so politically conservative.

Dude! We had seminary BEFORE CLASS!! Seeing that high school started at 7:30AM that meant we had to be at Seminary at like... 6:15. Talk about dedication to your faith.

Also, our church was RIGHT NEXT to the high school also. Hee.

Why buy?

Why buy? You can just call a toll-free number and two very nice young men will deliver one for free right to your door!

I've been trying to convince the pizza place that I'm interested in Pizzianity and see if they'll match the offer. Somehow "well, the Mormons do it" doesn't seem to convince people to give you stuff.

You don't have to buy; you can get a free one off the web. That's how I got mine. No spam so far; though I should note that I had it sent to my post-office box rather than my home . . .
