Another week has begun, and I am still employed. Yay!!!

Service engine light came on again. I'm trying to ignore it, except to note that it annoys me. It's kind of like when I was little and my brother would try to bug me and my mom would say, "Just ignore him!!!" and I'd be like, "But I can't!!!"

I rearranged my living room over the weekend. I like it much better, I think. It's weird, I mean, I didn't totally *dislike* it the other way, but still. I feel happier with it like this. And now I can see the trees outside when I'm sitting on the couch, which is nice. I kind of scratched the floor whilst furniture was being moved, which sucks, but what can you do? There are now random things that still need to be dealt with, and mirror man is lying on a counter, but all things will be done in time. I figured out how to spray paint all the metal doors, but I'm going to have to have a full day to do it in, so here's hoping next weekend is clear, bright, and windless!

I applied for a part-time job at several home improvement warehouses. I need the cash, and the time may as well be spent somewhere that I like hanging out in (though that will undoubtedly change, heh). Who knows if they'll even get back to me, but I did try.

I got to hang out with lots of people this weekend, which was pretty exciting. Though one of the people I hung out with left mouth and nose prints on the windows of my car. Bastard! I guess it was only fair payback though.

Didn't make it to Paddlesport, but I don't think it was much of a loss. I would've probably just stared at the Subarus for a good long time in envy. Then moved onto cool gear, doing the same thing, then moved onto looking at cool trips that I also can't have. I still plan to join a club or two, but I'll have to actually make more of an effort.

Way back when I moved, a couple sent me a home depot giftcard because they love me and are exceptionally cool people. I realized the other day that I hadn't used it, so yesterday I went and bought spring gardening stuff. And then I planted seeds. I realized it'd been years since I planted anything, so this is kind of cool. I plan to use my deck to full effect, and have sown grape tomatoes, green soybeans, rosemary, and pomegranate seeds. The pomegranate ones might be odd, for some weird reason I decided to plant all the seeds, even though the tray wasn't big enough, so each plug has several seeds. Given that I'm not entirely sure they'll germinate, I guess this is okay, and it's not like I know what to do with 20, never mind the hundred I could've had. I'm not sure conditions are perfect for them, but I've done the best I could. Eventually I'll probably be asking everyone I know if they want any of these plants. I do kind of overdo it with the baby plants on occasion. Oh, and the coffee trees are getting bigger, though there are still no signs whatsoever that they may grow beans. I'm holding off on putting them outside still. I'm waiting till it's hot.
