Okay, so I was listening to John Denver & The Muppets A Christmas Together and there's the story of Alfie the Christmas Tree, right, and he mentions the phrase, "Brotherhood of man". And even though this is supposed to be a good thing, I still think that phrase just sounds rather sinister.

Maybe there's a link in my head to the x-men, and the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants. (oh, I'm sorry, Brotherhood of Mutants (who do evil things)). Either way, "Brotherhood of Man" sounds like a secret society bent on world domination. Say it out loud, like you're a newscaster, you'll see what I mean. Yeah.

I think that should be "Brotherhoodof Man". This is the partial skeleton that was dug up near Brotherhoodof. It is an exciting find for the theorists who hold the view that the modern man's opposable thumb is only a stopping point on the way to having Muppets instead of hands on the ends of our arms.
