But if we stopped sending personal stuff through the interdepartmental mail, there wouldn't be any interdepartmental mail. Therefore, we are providing a valuable service and keeping the couriers and mail folk employed.
A valid point, it's very true. We need to have positive interdepartmental communications in order to build bridges of forward thinking relationships. Or something like that.
It's not misuse. We've used interoffice mail for items that were not company related. Wouldn't everyone like to get something fun in interoffice mail? It kinda breaks up the day.

I totally agree. If it makes someone happy to receive something, then they're happy workers. And happy workers are productive workers. Yet another reason that sidruid was right in his analysis of it being all good.
