podlingRight, so now I really, really know, I *do* actually need a very, very strong dosage of novocaine to be numb for any kind of root canal thing. Really. The guy ended up injecting the 7th and 8th shots directly into the tooth itself. I'm just not good with sharp stabbing pain is all. Ow.
