podling | Short Protest Observation

So... like I've said, I was in DC over the weekend. So were a whole bunch of protesters. One of the things that both

tanaise and I noticed were that both pro-peace and pro-war people used a sign that said "Remember 9/11". I'm not sure it was *exactly* the same sign, but I can't really recall. And I was thinking how interesting it is that that slogan can be used to support pretty much anything depending on the opinion of the person who is using it.

Know what I remember from 9/11? The first thing that comes to mind? How when I left the WTC at 8:30 that morning the sky was this simply amazing color of blue and I was thinking about how gorgeous it was out, that I definitely wanted to go have a picnic that afternoon when I got home. I don't think this is what either side meant with their signs though.
