Well, yeah, but I mean, there had to be something there to market, didn't there? I mean, it's a pretty big lake. Really big. Like, humongous. A zillion times bigger than me, at least. So I don't think the tourism marketeers could've made it on their own.
But they're marketeers! they can do anything! Rumour has it that supreme beings can create worlds in 7 days, but no one cares until marketeers create mass hysteria about it in only ONE day.
You're not allowed to find something wonderful unless marketeers tell you it's there first (after they've given it a catchy name of course).
Hmmn. I had *no* idea. But that does explain all the Lake George pamphlets lying around... And really, who'd want to come up with catchy names like 'george' on their own?
