So we have a lot of Chinese people working in my department. And I was discussing Chinese New Year with one of the older cook guys. And he says it's going to be the year of the monkey. (!) And then I said to my coworker, "Year of the Monkey! The perfect year for a crazymonkeyloveslave!" And the guy goes, "I'm a monkey". Heh.

Well, that, or we could have a new holiday declared. Like, one random day in June is crazymonkeyloveslave day! Or we could rename another holiday, like valentine's day. Many people hate that holiday and get depressed, imagine how much happier they'd be if they could go to a crazymonkeyloveslave party!

I don't know. I find Valentine's depressing enough. If I knew everyone else had crazymonkeyloveslaves, I'd be like, suicidal.

But it's a holiday that *everyone* could take part it. You don't have to have one or be one to celebrate. It's kind of like mardi gras! How many people celebrating that are Catholic? And since when did catholicism really get into public nudity?

but I have to concur with

tanaise that if you replaced Valentine's Day with it, people would assume that you had to celebrate it with your crazymonkeyloveslave. So I think we should have it at the anti-Valentine's Day, kinda like summer and winter soltices. So, August 14th (mmm, eric's b-day... what do you think it signifies, him being born on crazymonkeyloveslave day? hmmm). So on Valentine's Day people can celebrate "romantic" love, and on August 14th people can celebrate crazymonkey love.
