So it's funny... I pretty much never make new year's resolutions. Well, except for one that I make every year but that one's just a joke. So this year I said, "Damnit! I'm going to be more financially responsible this coming year. That'll be my resolution!" and then I get this email about a huge sale at CD World on new year's day. Ho hum. Guess the whole resolution thing is silly anyway... doot doot doo...

It is a hard choice. I mean, when you can buy happiness, should you really stop doing that? ;)

I could try though. You know, resolute but with clauses.

That's pretty close to my one pseudo-resolution...to be debt-free (apart from student loans) by the end of the year. That said, once I have a real job I'm certainly going to resume buying DVDs. :)

I plan to be debt-free (aside from student & car loans) by March! Who knows, it might be possible. I have a feeling that I"m just leaving something out which make me think it's possible though. It was vaguely sad... I used all my christmas money paying a credit card. So it's sad, yet makes me feel bizarrely responsible.

Of course, I can't stop buying cds, since I'm an addict, and there are DVDs and movies I want to see and concerts and a kayak I desperately want to buy and travel and and and... oh! and then I'm going to have to move! Oh, the pain...
