So. Apparently the pomegranate thing didn't work, since I seem to have returned to the regular NJ-NY routine. Ho hum. Probably a good thing. The coffee trees seem to have grown in my absence. My mom called to find out if I made it back, then said she was going to kill Cara next time she sees her. So, life goes on as usual...

Oh, right, sorry, it's not obvious, is it? Anyway, mom wants to kill Cara because Cara's mom called my mom (and I have no idea how she got that number) because her mom mistakenly believed she was dead at the hands of some random graduate student or something because she hadn't called her. So she was all frantic and crying and called my mom. But Cara is alive and fine and stuff.

Oh! And you never emailed me back from foreverago! I shall smite you now.
