(no subject)

The weekend was totally fabulous. Generally birthday weekends are kind of hit or miss with what you do. But this one... this one was really good. Pretty much the whole thing. The party on Friday was fab (mostly due to sidruid, who is a fantastic party host, even when he's not really the host), Saturday was really and truly great, Sunday I went on a little mini shopping spree and then bartered some ice cream for a dinner. All in all, v. good. My house isn't even destroyed. It's impressive.

Over the weekend, I also killed two of the tomato plants. They displeased me and deserved to be destroyed. Actually, all the seasonal stuff will be getting tossed within the next few weeks anyway, and I really have to move the big trees back in the house, but, like, they're heavy, so yeah. Soon, really soon.

Then I came to work. And honestly it didn't suck. I started reading Bitten on the way in, which took the edge off of Monday, then I had to hostess again (hopefully for the last time this week, so I could, I dunno, get something done eventually) and then I chipped a tooth... there's really nothing to say about that. It doesn't really hurt, I'm going to go attempt to have it fixed tomorrow. They'll probably tell me I should get some randomly expensive procedure, as per usual...
