Sep. 17th, 2004 03:11 pmThank you people for the good wishes... I'd reply to everyone individually, but... well, I *am* working. But it was much appreciated!
So odd b-day things at work. Christian Bale and fantabulous singing... bunnies, I think, for ecards. There were two cakes in the afternoon, a tirimisu and a chocolate mousse. (lines of communication are perhaps not totally clear, but hey, two cakes are never a bad thing) Then when I got back, there was a fedexed box of roses in my office. May I just say whoa. That was ever so slightly out of the clear blue sky.
Oh, and when I was hostessing, one of the execs told me I looked older today than yesterday. I think it's either that my hair is poofier or that I'm wearing black, but I'm not sure. He meant it in a good way though, apparently. I told him it was my b-day, so obviously I *should* look older. Later he told me that I was a very nice young lady, but there has to be something else, and I told him that deep down I was really evil. Then another executive jokingly offered a date with his son. All in all, an odd day here.
And so there will be leftover chocolate mousse cake tonight, for those coming. And lots of other stuff. Josh is out shopping for the other stuff as I type this probably. Good
sidruid! Plus he's good with the cheese selection...
