Dec. 18th, 2003 12:15 pmOkay, so I was listening to John Denver & The Muppets A Christmas Together and there's the story of Alfie the Christmas Tree, right, and he mentions the phrase, "Brotherhood of man". And even though this is supposed to be a good thing, I still think that phrase just sounds rather sinister.
Maybe there's a link in my head to the x-men, and the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants. (oh, I'm sorry, Brotherhood of Mutants (who do evil things)). Either way, "Brotherhood of Man" sounds like a secret society bent on world domination. Say it out loud, like you're a newscaster, you'll see what I mean. Yeah.
