(no subject)

I viciously killed a mosquito with a fork. In the woods. More later...

well, ok, so it's the sometimes you post. But really, a fork? in the woods? that's just odd! =)

Well that makes me feel better. Cuz I was wondering about you carrying a fork in your pocket for jsut those occasions when a mosquito attacked. Kinda like that guy on mystery men.

I wish I could remember my high school friend Beth's story about fending off a potential home invader with a turkey fork. It was a classic of weird stories. What is it about forks that makes fork-stories inherently bizarre? Is it just the word "fork" and how odd and innuendo-ish it sounds?

And why would NJ not put your photo on your license? Other than NJ being odd in general?

Oops! New Jersey's weird. Not that I haven't always thought this, but still. :-)

DC is having Issues with its new parking and registration stickers. They decided to combine the resident parking sticker with the car registration sticker, and the new sticker goes in the windshield. The DC cops, even though they were informed of the change months ago, have been stopping people for expired registration stickers (the old stickers went on the license plate, so a car with a new sticker in the window might have old stickers on its plates).

And that's not to mention the issues they're having because of the new DMV computer system. I'm glad Virginia hasn't had any of that silliness.
