Apr. 28th, 2006 02:26 pmSo last night I called my mom to ask her where I'd be able to find a particular kind of headband that would keep my hair out of my face while I'm working out, since I don't feel like just going shopping until I find one. So here's how the conversation went...
Mom: Why don't you just put your hair in a ponytail?
Me: It's not long enough, it still gets in my eyes.
Mom: How about lots of little ponytails?
Me: So I'd look like a weird muppet?
Mom: No, I was thinking more along the lines of Pebbles.
Me: I don't think I should be trying to look like Pebbles!
Mom: Sure! You could have a little pigtail right in the center of your head too!
Me: I don't want to look like Pebbles!!!

Date: 2006-04-28 08:16 pm (UTC)I tend to use the babushka style handkerchief thing for my hair fairly often, and in my hair, if I tie it snugly enough, it holds nicely even in activity. I don't know about 'jumping around,' though, since I don't.
