Nov. 9th, 2004 09:41 amThis week my hair has looked fabulous. After two or three weeks of bad hair, this is a nice change and one I am most pleased by. However, things I am not pleased by are more numerous... Yesterday I spent more than two hours trying to identify and fix an issue caused by someone mucking around with part of a spreadsheet they weren't supposed to touch. What about "Don't touch or even look at this part" is unclear? And this is why it seems like I spend more than half of my job fixing things other people have done. Then I had a meeting to discuss it and other things. Then I actually got some work done. Shocking, really. I ended up working OT, even.
On the plus side, I was busy all day. Today is some training. We'll see how that goes.
Notes from commuting:
If I'm walking 5 ft behind you in a parking lot and I can strongly smell your cologne, you are wearing too much, you stinky, stinky man.
When it's possible, maintain a distance from me. That thing pushing into your crotch? That's my backpack. Step off, jerk. There's plenty of room here. No really, step OFF!!!
When you run by me to be one of the first 20 people out of the parking lot I have a strong urge to clothesline you. I wonder if that'd count as assault. ps. I still pass you on Route 1, so I'm not sure why you bother.
