podlingMy boss needed to talk to me this morning. It was odd what we talked about. Not bad-odd exactly, but most definitely some flavor of odd. I'm not even sure what to think about it, that's how odd it was. And then I got an email about the next training class I'm scheduled for, which lasts about an hour longer per day that I normally have to work. Interesting...
Anyway, I've decided to not take Monday off. I was going to... I prefer not having to rush back from my parents house. But there's a report I need to do on Mondays that I *just* got working, and I'd like to be able to do it and have it in on time for once. Please, just once! And the international affairs people will be in town, which is always entertaining. Not entertaining like the circus, but still. Something different. And it'd be nice to have an additional vacation day that I can use during the holidays, in case it snows or something. Or perhaps if I just want to actually do something later.
The clubhouse at my development got new exercise equipment, which I still haven't gotten to use. On the one hand, I feel very lazy. On the other, I've been busy, sick, and tired. I've also been having a good time with the busy part, so I can't really complain. Much. So. Sometime soon I'll go try it all out, hopefully.
So yesterday I was walking around Philly looking at halloween decorations and such and I realized that this will be the first time in probably eleven years that I will be spending halloween without![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
sidruid and that's WEIRD!!! From when I met him till now, neither of us has been absent on that day. It's just weird!!! It does kind of make sense that people thought we were dating every so often I guess. It won't be the same though, it really won't. It'll probably be easier for sidruid, being in a cool foreign country and all. But halloween is our holiday!!!

Date: 2004-10-07 01:27 pm (UTC)This year will be weird, the tour ends on the 30th, so i don't even know if i'll be with americans to celebrate it. Maybe they do something in spain for halloween. I'll be in Barcelona for it.
