Continuing the NY resolution

That's New Year's, not New York, just to clarify.

So in the interest in trying to control my finances, I got Quicken Deluxe (for free, but I'm not going into the why of that) and was entering all my info last night. On the bad side, I'll never ever ever pay off my student loans. On the good side, I totalled my credit card limits and it turns out I can theoretically charge $50,200!!! And as I am nearing having no credit card debt, the whole thing is mine to work with! I figure this is enough to set me up in a new country. So, where should I go??? And what should I change my name to???

I don't know what country you should go to, but an unpronouncable symbol for a name is always a good idea.

what you do - you get yourself a really nice house in brazil. not rio, mind you, but someplace nice. and then you buy yourself another place in malaysia. and then you can bounce back and forth for fairly cheap, and you'll never spend more than 10 or 20 bucks a day in either country unless you become a raging alcoholic. trust me on this. and what you do is, take cash advances for *all* of the money, and then run away run away! only problem is, you'll have to invest in some sunless tanners before going, or people might notice you're not a local.

You make a good case for Ireland. And plus, from movies I've seen, it looks very scenic. But would people really buy me as in any way Irish? I think not. Maybe they'll be nice to me anyway...

Ah, but the symbol has to be uniquely me, and so far I haven't even been able to pick a tattoo, never mind a character for a name. It's very tough, I tell you.

BTW, I love the tattoo handprint, I've thought it was fabulous ever since you got it!

You have a good point and have made a decent nomination with Canada. Plus it has *fantabulous* kayaking, from the pics and stories I've seen. Maybe whilst I'm running from the long arm, I'll pay you a visit. You never know.

Sounds like a good plan. I'd take you, but I can't afford drinks for us both. At least you wouldn't need fake tanning products though. Well, I mean, once I'd been there awhile, growing orchids or something, I'm sure I'd be dark. I still remember how I looked when I worked in the greenhouse, heh.

It was an easy design to decide on :) I still haven't figured out a wedding tattoo, but the baby one was easy.
