Kind of last minute (or... past the start of WorldCon, anyway), I'm going to up for the weekend. I've currently got little to no plans. I may attend some stuff at the Con but I'm not entirely sure. Perhaps I should look at the website. Maybe.

My current plan for being up there is to arrive at the parental manse on Friday, have dinner with them and then crash out there and take the T in on Saturday morning. I'll probably be staying in Boston until either Sunday night or Monday morning. I'll have my cell on me, if anyone needs the number either email me before tomorrow afternoon or call Celia. Oh! Or text message me, you can do it from my user info! Anyway, so if anyone wants to see me, do get in touch. Though Monday is securely reserved for family time, keep that in mind.

Yesterday was a very mixed day for me. It's probably a good thing I don't have a computer at home at the moment, because last night possibly would've been profanity filled and vicious. So here's the synopsis... actually, before I get to that, let me point out that yesterday was also the major pms day for me, oh, and I've now had a headache for 2 days.

You want your oil changed when? (This part was actually funny) )

So last night I had this odd argument/debate with my father. Now honestly, most arguments with my dad are a bit odd. But really, I just don't get why he insists on speaking politics with me. He must know that we aren't going to agree. But then, no one in my immediate family agrees with him, so I guess he's used to that. And I guess it is something to talk to me about, and it generally takes a while before I refuse to continue the conversation... I guess he enjoys the debate, especially if I actually articulate my opinion well. Anyway, one thing I thought was cool was that he actually said, "You know, I never thought of it that way." when I said something about the presidential race. That's right! He almost admitted that I was right!!! Okay, it's unlikely to change his political views, but still.
