Soooooo.... Terminator was on again! Hah. Anyway, it made going to the gym more palatable. And I worked out for more than an hour... because I had to stay till the end of Terminator. Hee.

Right, anyway, in other news, Dragoncon!!!

And in real other news, I got into the learn-to-row program!

Congrats! When does it start? Best of luck, I loved it when I did it, and I hope you do, too. I'll be taking up winter training in November so we can train together!

Also, since she forgot to mention it above, we've still got room space.

Well, you have a edge at least. You already kayak. Some people who join the Learn to Row program have never even been in a rowboat much less a kayak, or crew shell.

marginally. (Actually, I'd been worried about the room cost before I saw the email, but that's totally do able, even without more people. And it might be kinda neat to be at a con without 47 people in the room with us.)

You have two weeks to use the rowing machines at the gym. Hop to it!

You will probably find this helps you get in shape. :D

You should have asked Meredith about her days at Princeton. Her roommate was a coxwain for the freshmen men rowers. The coach would row them until they were puking.

CLRA is a little kinder. Heh.

Well, maybe you could just do like 15 minutes on it. With your Ipod. Music makes things good too...

If they are a lifeguard, they are certified. You can also do it at the YMCA pool in Princeton for free.

The Boathouse is on Faculty Rd. I can tell you how to get there.

:D

Make sure if you DO use the rowing machine that someone shows you th proper technique. Otherwise you might end up having to unlearn some bad habits later.

5:15, That's not bad (I get up at 4 every day, and I don't have to be at school till 8). Going to the gym on the morning is the best time saver, you only need one shower during the day instead of two, which is better for your hair and skin anyway (dosen't dry it out).. I think that is so awesome.

Hopefully I can do the marathon. We'll find out when the time comes!
