On the topic of cane toads...

Much though I don't post often now, this had to be posted. Oh, and I stole it from sidruid, who pays attention to the news. The basic gist... Cane toads must be stopped.

I won't go into the whole explanation of why I find it all fascinating, but suffice it to say that bioinvasion is totally a hot topic for me, and that movie Cane Toads: An Unnatural History is always good.

So what's this guy gonna do with them once they're captured? Send them to the guy in the movie who had all his problems caused by cane toads?

Yay! I heard this on the radio, with a short interview with the guy who invented the trap (as far as I can see, the 'invention' part involved 'hey, I could tape a cane toad!'). He sounded horribly like the men in the film, and evoked happy thoughts of you, Jenny and Kirsten...
