Thanks to sarudy, I now know about The Last Starfighter, the Musical. And I must see it! Mostly because I can't really imagine it as a play, never mind a singing, dancing musical. So yeah!!!

And a question for anyone who frequented my brief (very brief) time of hostessing movie nights at the coffee place in Highland Park... did we actually watch this movie there? (yeah, great hostess I was, I can't even remember what was shown...)

I attended for the showing of "Bukaroo Banzai" and I think for "Legend" so i don't kow about the other nights

I think it was Buckaroo Banzai, Tron, and Labyrinth, though I'm not totally sure. I know BB was the first one since that was the one that the owner didn't believe I could get more than a dozen people to show up to watch. He was oddly surprised by the 30-something person turnout. littlefrogling tried to tell him that it'd be up there, but he just didn't believe either of us...

i don't think we ever watched the last starfighter, but i could be mistaken. i didn't make as many of the movie showings as i'd have wanted.

you know my one roommate is terrified of labrynth and dark crystal, and the other one has never even seen them?!?! strange people in the world.
